Safety Procedures

PICK-UP line procedures:
Parents are to remain in their vehicles until students are loaded
Parents will not be allowed to walk up and take their child from the pick-up line
K-2 students must turn in a clothes pin to a grade level monitor before entering the vehicle
Changes to your child’s way home must be made by contacting the office (By 2:00 pm)

WALKER line procedures:
Parents must wait across the street; off school grounds
Everyone will use the cross walk with the crossing guard at all times
K-1 students will not be released unless a parent or sibling is present
K-1 students will be returned to the office if parent or sibling is not present
Changes to your child’s way home must be made by contacting the office (By 2:00 pm)

Safety First

We are concerned about the safety of your children at Taylor Ray. Please make note of the following:

The door opens at 7:00 a.m. Please do not drop off your children before this time.

Students are considered tardy if they are not in the classroom by 7:35 a.m. Accumulated times of tardies are calculated by minutes lost instructional time.

Dismissal is at 2:40 p.m. All students should be picked up by 2:55 p.m.

Parents must not remove students from a bus line or bus. Any change in transportation arrangements for any student requires a note or phone call to the front office from the parent by 2:00 pm.
